River Bend horses are fed top-quality alfalfa hay that is grown, cut, baled and stored on premises.
Automatic waterers in each stall
Stall bedded with clean wood shavings
Stall cleaned twice daily
Turn-out 7 days a week (boots added if necessary)
Blanketing (customer must provide blanket and sheet)
Removing and rolling of standing bandages in the morning
Fly spray in summer
Individual, secure locker for tack and supplies
* A supplemental feeding is also offered for horses that need weight gain or are enrolled in a stringent training program. A third feeding at noon is provided with extra rations of grain.
