Furr-Children who have passed...

Daryl
My only childhood cat. I know he was cool, but I also know he could be really mean! Old-fashioned Siamese blood...the kind that gave this type of cat a bad name!

Astro
Astro was extremely cool & lived with us until he was very old. I don't know exact dates, but I know Tobia was next in line.

Tobia (left) & Rhody (right)
Rhody was given to us as an older dog. Her mother had chewed off one of her feet when she was a puppy to free her from a Rhodendron bush she was caught in - hence, Rhody was her name. She was very loved & lived to be quite old.
That's my brother & me with them.

Tobia (bitee) & Ziggy (biter)
My beautiful, big Golden boys.
Tobia was given to me as a birthday gift because my Astro had passed away.  Ziggy was bought after Rhody passed away. His real name was Zildjian after the cymbals, because I'm a drummer.

Winston
My 2nd Dobie, 1st to pass. I loved him dearly - he was my BIG baby! He was an incredible dog. He came to us as an adult - he had been owned by a young man dying of cancer & Winston would lay on top of this man to comfort him when the man's pain became too much. After I moved out, I would go get Winston & bring him home to stay w/me even though I wasn't supposed to have pets at my apartment. He was afraid of storms & we would comfort each other when there was one. I miss him very much!

Vanna
My brother's Sharpei, passed in 1998.
I took Vanna & held her while she was put to sleep. She had stomach/intestinal cancer & her quality of life had become very poor. It was time to let her go.
I strongly believe in being there, if possible, when your pet passes...it comforts them & helps you in the grieving process.

Gonzo
He lived at the vet's I worked for.
My husband & I loved him so much!
He died from kidney failure in 1996.

Bashor & Me
My 1st Dobie. I'll miss him forever.
He was put to rest on March 23, 2000.
He was 12 years old.
I'm the only person Bashor gave kisses to & the only one he never 'pinched'. We had a special bond & I still can't imagine life without him. Whenever I see a tennis ball or a frisbee, I'll think of him & say a silent "I love you."

Furry Doe
I had him for only 1 night.
He was to be hand-raised, but never made it.
My 1st hand-raising 'death' experience.

I will be adding more memorials to this site as time goes on.
If you have a loved furry that has passed & want to honor him/her here,
please just email me & I'll be more than happy to post your furry.
