The first person on the left with the hat is Arthur Marks born abt 1853 in either Penobscot or Orland Hancock Maine. This picture is in Best Remembered: Orland,Maine 1800-2000. If you have family from Orland Maine this is a great book to own. It contains stories and pictures of the town and the people who lived there. Below is a link with information on this book.

Linwood Dunham son of Amelia Carpenter Marks and Ezra Kellogg Dunham. He was born Aug 1891 and died at the age of 108 in Jan of 2000 Portland Cumberland Co. Maine. This picture was taken on his 108th Birthday. Photo used with permission, Thank you Irene.
