My budgie is seven weeks old and about 1 quarter through taming. I find it hard as he is very fast. Can someone send me some diagrams to teach me how to clip my budgies feathers. My mum had one but he couldn't fly. But he was really smart. He could say every word in the dictiionary!

Our budgie is very cute. He likes lettuce but not fruits. He cannot fly long distance, though he is out of his cage every day for ca.20 minutes. His companion, Freddie, who recently died, was a good flyer.

I am honoured that you included a link to my chat page (Budgie Central).
I am working on a document that you can add to this site, but still have to work out just what to include in it, you seem to have everything covered already.

How many budgies you keep: At the moment I think I have 28, but there could be more as there are eggs about to hatch.

I started last year (1998) with 10 Budgies, and finished the year with 25. My babies hatched and just kept on hatching. This year 3 more have hatched (that I know of, maybe more by now). They live with the Cockatiels and Quail in the aviary. I have introd
ced my nephew to the wonderful world of Budgies. He has 7 and is training them to sit on his finger and do tricks. These are wonderful creatures.
