they were bought for a classroom pets the female is so small i would not let her go in. i separeted them about 2 weeks ago because he was getting agressive and he weighs a pound more then her. the vet says they are very healthy and well taken care of. i'm just nervous that she might hurt the babies. they are beautiful ! if you can give me any help in the matter it will be greatly appreciated.

I read your artical on the dwarf rabbits - very interesting. You see I found a dwarf flop eared cute fuzzy little thing that I wanted and I just wanted to get a cheap plastic cage for him so he could stay in my room for our cold Albertan winter and then t ke him outside in the summer with my other bunny(I didnt want to put him out in -25 quite yet). BUT the Pet store said they couldnt sell me the furry thing because my cage was to small - I thought it was a suitible size for the little guy - and it wasnt l ke I would just let him sit there all day. I told the lady that too. I was really mad, and sad, I liked the little bunny. :(

I love to read about other people and their bunnies.My bunny is my greatest furry wee pet,at first when I got him I thought he was a she hence Molly but the name stuck just the same.He is a sable martin and a real prize winning bunny to look at.Unfortuntl he is also the bossest rabbit on earth,he quite capable of being charming and will act on some instructions if and only if the mood takes him.Its not uncommon for him to bite if hes not getting want he wants,i.e,more patting,less patting.But all that a ide I adore him,he gives me so much enjoyment sitting on my knee having a patting,watching him wash his face with those tiny little front legs.All the best with your project.

Now that I own one (and in a house) I can't image being without a rabbit. They are wonderful pets, and oh soooo easy to care for. It is a simple as keeping wood around for them them to chew, fresh food and water, and a clean cage. Mine is litter box trained, so that gets changed daily to keep him happy and healthy. I have also been very amused (laughing out load) at the stuff this bunny does. I'm in the process of stripping wallpaper, and this rabbit comes over to the wall I'm working on, and graps the paper and tears it off. It took a few times of me pulling paper ut of his mouth for him to understand he can't eat it. Now he just pulls it off, and drops it.
