CONGRATULATIONS SPOT!!!

PRINCESS IS PRETTY IN PINK!

ESP Dogs Dominate Obedience Ring!

Dateline: 11/14/98 - Harrisburg, PA

The K-9 caravan travelled to Harrisburg, PA today to compete in various events at an obedience trial sponsored by the Dauphin Dog Training Club.

Ribbons were rampant as the ESP trained dogs delivered in almost every event!

The Determined Dalmatian competed in the Graduate Novice ring and captured FIRST PLACE with a respectable score of 193 out of a possible 200! In doing so she won a stunning PINK ROSETTE and a $25 cash prize! But, wait - that's not all!

Seems the Mottled Marvel also took home the trophy (a large Dalmatian mug) for HIGH SCORING DALMATIAN in that event! (OK, she was the only Dalmatian in that event!) AND, took home the trophy (a large octagonal Dalmatian plate) & a $5 cash prize for HIGH SCORING DALMATIAN IN THE ENTIRE TRIAL! (and she wasn't the only Dal in the show!) Not bad for Princess Spotte Obviously, CGC, CD, NAJ, OA " who the hell do you think you are calling me 'Spot'" - the "obedience challenged" dog!

Not to be forgotten, Rotty pal Bubbles came in a close SECOND in the same event and took home a nice ROSETTE, too!

Then, to continue the ESP winning ways Rotty classmate Jennifer (aka: Jumpin' Jenny) snagged the big BLUE RIBBON for FIRST PLACE in Novice and the third and final leg toward her CD title, AND walked away with the TROPHY for HIGH SCORING ROTTWEILER IN TRIAL!

Rotty ringleader Levi grabbed a THIRD PLACE YELLOW RIBBON in Utility and grabbed the TROPHY for HIGH SCORING ROTTWEILER IN TRIAL THAT ALSO HAS AN AGILITY TITLE.

Golden Brady walked out with a SECOND PLACE RED RIBBON in Open, while newest classmate Great Dane Odie snapped up a FOURTH PLACE WHITE RIBBON in the same event. Rotty Gator grabbed a qualifying score for a second leg toward her CDX title in the same ring.

Meanwhile, Westie Calsea took home the TROPHY for HIGH SCORING WESTIE IN TRIAL!

Although Rotty Rylee and Lab Casey fell short in their attempts today, the ESP trained gang were able to dominate the day! (Rumor has it that future events will limit the number of ESP trained dogs allowed in order to give everyone else a chance! )

The Dynamite Dalmatian was in rare form today and put in a splendid performance despite a slight distraction on the down stays when a buzzing fly attempted to make her break her stay! This was her first appearance in the obedience ring since July and was a primer for upcoming events designed to get her ready for CDX competition by Spring.

FLASH NEWS UPDATE - Word out of Cleveland is that the Spotted Sensation is IN for 3 days of agility competition in early December - a final crack at the elusive third leg needed for her Open JWW title and some work to get her on track for competition in the Excellent Standard class next year. Looks like Rotty pals Levi, Radar, & Bubbles will all be in attendance in Cleveland, too!

Stay tuned for updates as events unfold!

(ASN welcomes rottnweiler2otch to the network!)
