Breed Standard

Every breed has what is called a standard, a description of what that particular breed should look and act like. It is important that the breed standard be upheld for the maintenance of that breed's integrity.

Below are two links that lead to different Rottweiler standards. Both standards differ slightly and describe the ideal Rottweiler. Learn about type, movement, structure, temperament, etc. and you will be able to spot a correct Rottweiler from one with faults.
