Draco Gleneagl Fire in the Sky UD "Torrie"

"Torrie", born in January, 1990, completed her Utility title at Richmond Dog Obedience Club May 11, 1996 with a 4th place in Utility B. A puppy from Ch. Adam's first litter, she was a strikingly marked sable, and the dam of our Dog-World-Award winning Bailey. Though she was awarded Best in Specialty Match as a puppy, she was never campaigned in conformation shows. Contrary to "conventional wisdom", which holds that a bi-factored Sheltie will have dark or smutty coloration on the face, Torrie's mask was clear sable. She was proven to be bi-factored, and though she never produced a white puppy, we presumed from her white stifles that she was white factored. We lost Torrie at age 12 1/2 to cancer.
