Hi, This is Molly Brown again. Do you know what the Hottest and Boringest Dog
Showing in the world was? It was last Week End. Me and my People-Mom went in
the Morning, but didn't do any Showing until it got dark out! And there weren't any
Lights! It was a Agility Showing, but we didn't do any High Climbings. It was very
strange. The next day I did the Climbings in the morning when it was still cool, and
did the Not-Climbing Games when it was very hot. And a Boy made Pee-mail in the
Tunnelz! I stopped and read it, but my People-Mom said that was Not-a-Good-Idea.
I got Ribbinz and, even better, I got lots of Biskits!
Some of my friends who used to do Obedience Games were there, like Spice and Sophie and Darcy and Honey. And other friends like Sam and Gromit and Jesse-the-Malinois were there, too. There were lots of Pappalillions but Luke had to stay home because he is Not-Ready-Yet.
Luke and Bailey have a new Job. They are Gardening Dogs. They think they help my People-Mom in the Gardenz. Bailey likes to bite the Hose Water and the Sprinkler Water. He gets Very Wet when he does that, and then he shakes water all over the rest of us! Even Luke thinks that's dumb.
There is a Rule about Gardenz-don't go in the Vegetablez. Vegetablez grow behind the Extra Fence, and all us Shelties know the Rule. Luke thinks No Rules are for him, so he went in and stomped the Vegetablez. He tried to eat some but they didn't taste good.
Luke helps with Digging Weeds in the other Gardenz. Weeds are like Grass and Flowers, 'butcept People don't like them. People get Mad if you eat Flowers but not if you eat Weeds. I don't understand this very well, so I don't eat Flowers or Weeds. When my People-Mom pulls up the Weeds, I just lay in the Cool Shade and watch. But Luke runs and bites the weeds. Then he digs and digs and digs to Help. Sometimes he digs Dirt right onto my People-Mom. She thinks this is a Bad Idea, but usually Luke doesn't get In Trouble because he is "Cute". I just think he is Bad.
When Luke was a Very, Very small puppy, he hunted a Dead Mole, so I thought he was going to be a Huntin' Dog. But now I don't think so. Us Shelties hunted a Bunny in the Yard, and we Catched it!! We could have played with the Bunny a long time, 'butcept Luke was Scared and barked and barked at it. All that Barking made my People-Dad find it and he took it Away. Some Huntin' Dog Luke is!
Be good in your Practicing. I will write more stories later. Did you know my People-Mom is putting my Old Stories at a New Web Page? It is http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/2488
Love,
Molly B.
