Trainers/Instructors- This was a nice support group for all to talk with other trainers and instructors-we collobrated on ideas for teaching and training. B. "I run my barn by myself" This was a nice support group for all to talk with other single barn runners-we collobrated on ideas for running a barn and how to mentally handle ourselves. C. Breeders- This was a nice support group for all to talk with other breeds-we collobrated on ideas for improving breedings and the quality of stallions, broodmares,a nd foals D. Multi-Disipline Riders/Trainers- This was a nice support group for all to talk with other trainers and riders-we collobrated on ideas for making transitions between displines. The Seminars: Tues am Stable Management w/George Morris-an awesome seminar!! George gave us sooooooooo many stable management tips!! Now we know all his stickler methods! Tellington-Touch-Equine-Awareness-Method w/ Linda Tellington-Jones-this was a really really cool seminar for those who attended! TTouch is so beneifical to horses! Tues pm Tack-Fitting w/Dover Saddlery -this was a good thing for all to make sure their tack was fitted correctly so the best performance can be received out of the horse. Showing strategies w/George Morris-This was sooo cool! Again, some great tips from George on how to take care of your horse on show day as well as to be succesful in the show arena. Wes am Equine physiology w/Linda Tellington-Jones-This was a neat seminar to learn more about the skeletal and muscular parts of the horse, how they worked and how realative it is to a good performance from the horse. Horse Buying w/George Morris-This was a very fun and educational topic. Attendedes learned tips on how to buy a horse and make good decisions-with of course examples of bad decisions. Wes pm: Rider Fitness w/George Morris-This was a neat hands on seminar! Everyone worked out! Now we can go home and stay fit! LOL! Vitamins and Nutrition w/Valley Vet Supply-This was a very very important seminar. Making sure our horses stay healthy and well balanced is important for performance and all went home with a plethora of hand outs and charts. Thurs am: Show Hosting Tips w/George Morris-This was a fun class---George stressed getting results in on time [LOL!] and gave some great tips so all HB shows can run smoothly. Forum to share tips on running a barn w/Linda Tellington-Jones as moderator-All shared some great ideas on how to run a succesful barn. This was a very benifical seminar time to share.
