AN: Wow!  This was a competitive class mastered by Harkwood's Palermo! Close behind in second and third were the flashy Hall of Mirrors and that aspiring jumper Amazon Challenge.  WF Star Surprise was only two faults behind Amazon Challenge, and Blanco Oro and FX Cote D'Or did well in a tough class.

AN: Wow!  What can I say?  That these two have godsent jumping talent?  Either of them easily could've won this class - King Henry just did a little better today.  Great job by both of the entrants!

27. Grand Prix - 6'6" (2 entries)

AN: This class was extremely competitive - and had awesome entries!  They were tied after the first round with one fault, and there was a jump off.  Both entries said they were OK with one fence being 6'9" - so that's what we did!  It was a terrific class.

AN: We saw the best young riders and ponies around in this class!  Ani, Emma, Ellie, and Alexandre showed off in this class!  Alexandre and Alvadar's Double Destiny took top honors, with Milady of the Crown and Emma taking second.  Ellie and Ani did a great job too!  Particularly since Echo and "Flower" were being difficult.

Aramis aced the jumper part for horses, and Something Original was terrific in the horse hunters.  King Henry did well with the pony hunters, but overjumped in the pony jumpers.

Hunter/Jumper Reserve Champion of Show: Milady of the Crown with 39 HHuA Points
Whistle in the Wind was just behind with 38, and EEq. Flower Fire with 37 HHuA Points. 
AN: For champion of show and reserve, we used the already calculated hunter points and added to them the points from the jumper and special classes.  For horses with only firsts in jumpers, we did that and the special classes.  Confusing, yes.  LOL.
