Hoomans note : F'erty passed away in March, but I am leaving his page up as it was. He was my absolute favorite (but shh...don't tell the others that!) Little Herk has the same personality and mannerisms as F'erty...sometimes it's a little freaky...like F'erty is in Herk somehow. Here's his page :
Dooka! Hello, I'm the CUTE one! Don't let anyone else tell you
otherwise! I am a male sable, weigh about 2 lbs, and am 5 years
old! I came into my hoomans life with Sabre. Did I mention I am
CUTE? I love to roll over onto my back, cross my precious little
paws, look up at my hooman, sigh, and look as cute as possible!
No one can deny my cuteness! I do this especially if I am about
to get in trouble! It works every time! If for some strange
reason my hooman does deny my cuteness...I ignore her for days
and don't acknowledge her presence! It only took about one time
of that for her to realize that cuteness rules! My favorite
season is spring! I wish it was always spring! The girls don't
feel that way though. My hooman teases me about this sometimes
and calls me Norma. (from the movie Psycho...Mamma
bates says to Norman 'Mommies little Norma...I'm going to cut
that nasty little thing of yours off!') She also calls me
Psycho fert becase if someone squeaks a squeaky toy, and doesn't
give it to me, I go psycho on them! I also love to sleep in my
hoomans lap at night when she is on the puter. Oh...before I
forget...I must tell you that I am CUTE! Cuteness has it's
advantages you know!
How I got my name : I used to have a really icky name, so my hooman renamed me. I am named after D'artagnan of the Three Musky-Teers. (my name rhymes with canyon...fur-tanyon...the gn is pronounced the same as in lasagna)
Favorite Pastime : Being cute
Nicknames : F'erty, F'erters, Mr. Cute, Psycho Fert, 'Norma'.
Favorite Treats : Meat Stick and ferretvite, all other treats stink!
Favorite Trick : Rolling over on my back, crossing my paws, and being as CUTE as possible!
Things I like : Meat Stick, being CUTE, squeaky toys, attention.
Things I don't like : Treats (other than meat stick and ferretvite), getting in trouble, being called a 'cute little girl' or Fart-tagnan (the nerve of some people!).
