As Chief Petty Officers of the world's greastest Navy, we dedicate ourselves to the principles of justice and freedom for all that have made our nation the greatest country in the history of humanity. We recognized that in the United States Navy, and only in our distinguished branch of service, does a Chief Petty Officer carry the unique responsibility directly attributed to the title of Chief. We, in turn, enjoy these rights, responsibilities and privileges because of the great tradition of Navy Chiefs that have served before us. As members of the most exclusive fraternity in the world, we have responsibilities to our brothers and sisters even as they have responsibility to us. We willingly accept the title of Chief. We relish the idea og being leaders in our chosen profession and the very foundation of leadership in the Navy. We prepare ourselves to be the authority in personal relations and technical application.
