George Littman and Herbie Hope erected a monument near the maintenance tent at the Bomber 2 Espiritu Camp in memory of the following VB-101 and PATSU 1-2 boys lost in action in the Solomons. The 15th CB's poured the cement block, and the USS DIXIE cast the plaque. One of the VB-101 pilots added the art work to the photo on the next page:
