The 54,000 British soldiers were sent to the Gulf 100% fit. When they returned they were not 100% fit. By focussing on the devastated lives of five men and women who fought for their country, the award-winning Lethal Exposure uncovers the medical experiment in which they unwittingly took part.

This documentary was made for and with the cooperation of the veterans. It examines the apparent causes of Gulf War illness, and we have invited Scottish veterans to explain their experiences, their feelings and fears.

Lethal Exposure is an investigative documentary which was completed two years ago. It is only since the change in Government that the programme has been aired. Over seven years have passed since the end of the Gulf conflict, yet hundreds of veterans are suffering from medical illnesses ranging from severe headaches, muscle fatigue and memory loss to night sweats, abdominal pain, dizziness or visual disturbance - and these are just the 'minor' complaints.

The documentary Lethal Exposure and this web site is intended to heighten awareness of the problems of Gulf War Syndrome.

Fierce Films are holding a multimedia presentation at The Global Cafe, London on 11th October 1998. There will also be an opportunity to participate on the on-line debate and to listen to the internet broadcast.
