Force Preventive Medicine Service is responsible for Preventive Medicine issues for 31 remote sites and three CPU (Coastal Patrol Unit) along the Egypt/Israeli border, down along the Gulf of Aqabah to the tip of the Sinai Peninsula. All of these sites are in "Zone C" on the map above. This about 270 miles of coverage. The responsibilities are divided up between North Camp located in El Gorah (upper-right of the map) and South Camp (tip of the Sinai Peninsula).
