The TLQ-11 jammer was an India band system operating at frequencies from 8400 to 9600 MHz.  The "11" was used to train aircrews by jamming the bombing/navigation radars.  It was a continuous wave (CW) or, noise, jammer meaning it provided barrage type jamming rather than individual targets, or deception jamming.   The 11 was slaved to the primary tracking radar, (MSQ-39, MSQ-46, MSQ-77, or TSQ-96) to insure accurate pointing and  maximum effectiveness.  The 11 actually used a fiberglass antenna.  Normally, the radio frequency (RF) radiation would pass through the fiberglass.  This, of course would make the antenna useless but the paint on this antenna reflected the RF beam.  What was this special paint?  Gloss white enamel that you can buy at any hardware store!  Isn't RF great?
