AN/MST-T1V Mini-MUTES (Multiple Threat Emitter System)...

The Mini-MUTES typically contains three transmitters, based on the MUTES system, and is remotely located from the main radar site.  Three or four of these pedestals can be positioned throughout the low-level route of the aircraft.  They simulate various threats encountered enroute to the target area.
