AN/MST-T1A MUTES (Multiple Threat Emitter System)...

The MUTES is an IFF/SIF tracking system that works in conjunction with the TRAINS to provide threat signals and reaction analysis for aircrews.  The MUTES has 19 threat transmitters capable of providing 5 simultaneous threats.  These threats range from shipborne to airborne threats, along with numerous ground based threats.  It has alternate tracking modes of manual/TV and slaved to a primary tracking radar.
