In processing will be on June 30 and many Class of 2002 appointees will be arriving unaccompanied on June 29. The AOG wants to be sure you are aware of the Bed & Breakfast service being offered to appointees who need a place to stay. The Association of Graduates will match your cadet with a volunteer family of a graduate or Academy staff member. The service includes picking up your cadet at the airport or Doolittle Hall, providing dinner and breakfast, a place to sleep, and transportation to Doolittle Hall on the 30th at the appointed time. This is the third year of this offering this and we served 25 cadets the first year and some 250 cadets last year. To participate, first have the airline reservations confirmed (arrival date/time/flight number). Then call Jennifer at the AOG offices at (719) 472-0300. If you are bringing your cadet yourself, please come to Doolittle Hall on the 30th, see your cadet off on the bus, visit with alums, parents and senior staff, and then stay for a free lunch provided to parents and family members by the AOG.
