Comments: Eileen's comment about it being better to go through basic already having friends is so very true. When I was given the option of going to a prep school for the academy, I was kind of hesitant. But now I've got at least 40 friends that I know will be th re for me during basic, as I know I will be there for them. This page is a great opportunity for those unfortunate enough to have gotten in the Academy without having gone through a prep school beforehand (I never thought I'd hear myself say that.)
