Thomas B. Crockett:
Thomas B. Crockett served originally in Co. K, 1st Kentucky Cavalry (US), but was captured at the Battle of Perryville on 10/8/1862 . He joined the Confederate Army rather than stay in prison camp.
He was commissioned 3rd Lieutenant of Co. K, 11th Kentucky Cavalry, CSA on 3/10/1863 at Monticello, Wayne County, Ky., captured 7/1863 at Cheshire, Ohio.
He was still a POW on 1/7/1865.
Was identified in Wayne Co. criminal files as member of Ferguson's company.
Born in Clinton Co., Ky. in 1845, the son of David and Martha Crockett.
