TIPS FOR STAYING CONNECTED

It's so important with the long working hours that you and your spouse stay connected. At times you have to be clevar and/or very selfless. Stay flexible and be spontaneous-when a break comes, be ready to take advantage of it!

Reserve time once a week (even if only an hour or two) as "sacre". Let very little prevent you from spending it together.

Support your spouse with constructive solutions to problems.

Leave phone messages for each other on the answering machine.

PT together. It's another opportunity to see him/her and stay in shape.

Have a white board (fry erase) or chalkborad for notes.

Have a "drop box" for notes, gifts, jokes, whatever.....

Bring lunch to your spouse's office once in a while

Have family dinners as often as possible.

Tell your spouse how wonderful he/she look in uniform (often)

Write on a calendar at home how many mission months are left!

            Communicate, Communicate, Communicate!

            Be Flexible!
