Enemy's of World War 1 to Desert Storm
Man's Best Friend fight's to duty's called
As past Veteran's honored to walk home
Yet K-9's left behind gates to roam. . . . .
Government labeling dogs surplus to fate
As Man's Best Friend lingers upon a gate
Soldier's last LQQks upon K-9's viewed. . .
" Ebony " & others thought to be safe. . . .
Yet, given as surplus to Vietnamese Army
Memory's of K-9's fight to WARS glory
Left behind in calls thru the night. . . . .

As I Love Poetry as yet another Artistic expression as a Logger Logs to Heritage Born & all our Human Race is blessed in one way or another in talent, I so longed to write a Poem to our Soldiers who fought thru Wars of Battle's Called In Our Never Ending Fight For PEACE. I researched on WAR & found a BQQk on a Soldier who was named " Joseph White " & the BQQK he wrote was dedicated to his beloved WAR Dog who FOUGHT side by side with him in War & called " EBONY & WHITE " & a great BQQK which woke me up to the daily uses of dogs. 40,000 dogs were used in WAR from World War II-Vietnam-Persian Gulf-Desert Storm-Bosnia- & the beat's to their Life-Force at times no longer as they lead their Dog Handler in " Point " ahead of comrades & they sadly died along with Soldier's in saving Troops, died while ahead of comrades & tripped a wire to Claymore Mines & also warned their Soldier's to enemy's approaching. Today & daily Man's Best Friend fights in the search's to Missing Children, in tragedy's to the OKLAHOMA BOMBING & in the current EarthQuake to tragedy in finding lives & Loved Ones victims due to War, Victims, & the list is long to our Dogs daily role they play on Life's Stages. . . . . . .I dedicated this Poem after I read the book on the important part's they play in our entire World, & sadly I dedicate this Poem to the dogs who were Killed In Action & the list is sadly long as the Vietnam's Memorial portrays on the etched Wall to Soldier's also Killed In Action. Right now, a Memorial Fund is at hand to Honor the K-9's who daily serve today & dogs who served in WAR & these sites shall lead to doors to open for our K-9's Memorial Site to be placed at Arlington Cemetery at Washington DC & Sites to make their Memory's FOREVER are listed below & PLEASE check these Sites out to see the sacrifice dogs gave in WAR & also give to our World Daily. . . . . . . . .
