The uniform on the left is a Garrison uniform for a Private in the Soviet Infantry. He has the distinctive Red shoulder boards with the yellow C A (SOVIET ARMY) letters. The red collar boards have the Motor Rifles collar badges. On the right side of his tunic he is wearing a Proficiency, Classification and Sports badges. He also has a “Komsomol” badge on his right breast. He is wearing a standard service belt with a brass buckle. The side cap has the small enlisted cap badge.

The second uniform is for a Combat Engineer. It is a simple cotton 2 piece uniform. Engineer subdued collar badges are worn on the collars. An enlisted man side cap is normally worn.
