SOVIET OFFICERS ARMY AND NAVY PARADE UNIFORMS

The uniform on the left is a Parade uniform for a Captain in the Motor Rifles (Motorized Infantry). Parade shoulder boards are worn on the tunic. They have a single red stripe running vertical up the boards with 4 small rank stars. The red stripe matches the red collar boards, red piping on the sleeve and trouser legs. The red also matches the red band and piping on the parade cap. On the left side of the tunic are worn his medals. He has been awarded with the 70yrs Armed Forces Medal and a 10yrs Long Service/Conduct Medal. On the opposite side he has the following badges. Guards, Officers Academy and a Suvorov Cadet breast badge. Above them is worn a 2nd Class Combined Arms Specialist badge. A parade belt is worn with this uniform. Please note the white shirt and black tie that is worn under the tunic.

The other uniform is a Naval Parade uniform for a Commander. This is a double breasted tunic that is very well made. On the parade shoulder boards, there are 2 black stripes running vertical up the boards. Attached to this are 2 large rank stars. Attached to the collars are 2 Alloy Oak Leaves and Anchors. On the left side his medals are worn. He has been awarded the following medals. 100yrs Lenin Birth, Veterans medal, 60 & 70 yrs Anniversary medals of the Armed Forces, 20, 15, 10 years Service medals and 1500yrs Anniversary medal of Kiev. On the opposite side he is wearing a Naval Academy breast badge and a Distant Voyage breast badge. Above them is a silver ships Commander breast badge. The buckle on the parade belt has a distinctive Navy anchor on it. Hanging from the belt is an officers Naval dagger. The cap worn with this uniform has gold Alloy Oak leaves on the visor.
