The first cap is Officers Parade cap of the K.G.B. Border Guards. The cap is a "forest green" colour that is made from a wool like material. The cap has a black band with a standard officers parade cap badge, chin strap and buttons. Unlike other Border Guard parade caps. This cap has pink piping instead of red. I have been told that older caps were pink instead of red, but this is not confirmed at this time. This cap is dated 1978 and has a smaller visor.

The other cap is an Officers Service cap of the K.G.B. Border Guards. This cap is also a "forest green" colour made from a wool like material. The cap has a black band with red piping. It also has the standard officers service cap badge, chin strap, and buttons attached.
