This peak cap is for a Colonel of the Soviet Militia. It is dark grey with a red band and piping. It has a standard officers chin strap and buttons. The cap badge is a large oval badge that is used only for Militia Colonels.

The fur hat (Papahka) is also for a Colonel. It is made from grey/black Lambs wool. It has a grey felt top with a gold lace cross superimposed on the crown. It also has the large oval Militia cap badge on the front.
