The first fur hat "Ushanka" is for an Airforce/Airborne officer. It is made from a high quality "silky" artificial grey fur. The ear flaps are tied up together on the top of the hat. A standard Airforce/Airborne officers service cap badge is worn on the front.

The second fur hat is worn by higher ranking officers in the field. The hat is made from a grey and black Lamb’s wool and the ear flaps are also tied up on the top. A standard officers service cap badge is worn on the front.
