Tokyo Marui's H&K G3A4

Reviewed by Fallen Angel

I had been looking for an Airsoft rifle for about 3 months. When you live outside of the US or Japan it is kind a hard to find a rifle. My local store had a G3A4 in its window for about a month before I bought it. It was a good looking rifle, mainly in the MP5SD5 range, when I found out that the MP5 only had the 560 motor it turned me off. Then I read that the G3 had a new 700 motor, but I still want a solid stock, then I went to the Store and tried the G3A4 out it had a great feel, it was heavy, good looking, and had the 700 motor. The only thing now was the money, because in Belgium every thing is about 40% more then in the States. It cost about 21000 BF which is about $575, this included a battery and a charger. I now this might be expensive but you get used to it in Belgium (It's because of the high taxes here - 20% or more). I bought it, and I brought it home. There are only two things that bugged me about the gun. First battery is in the front hand guard, it is a pain to get in there, because of the narrowness of the guard, and the other thing that bugged me was the mag; loading the mag gets annoying because the first 30 you have to keep the loader out of the lock and the last 30 you put it in, thats why I am getting a Hi-cap Mag. The range is greater than I hoped for, it can go over 45 meters with no trouble, and the best thing is if you use the .25 gram BB the wind doesnt move them. Without the High-cap mag, on full auto youll run out of BBs fast, and youll change your mag every 2 minutes. Over all, if you need an Assault Rifle, but you dont need the stock get the G3A4, its got a long barrel for accuracy, and a great fire rate. With the retracting stock its great when your friend needs back up. I love my G3A4 and I am thinking of getting a smaller SMG for just around the house, like an MP5 but that wont be for a long time.
