"Valkyrie Goddess"
(to the tune of "Fat-bottomed Girls," and
with a nod to Torvar's "Valkyrie Girls" which inspired
me and from which I borrowed)

Ah . . . you sure taught me how to fight,
Ah . . . and how to love by fire light,
Ah . . . you are the lovely twin of Frey
Valkyrie Goddess you bring the flowers that bloom in May

I was just your average Norse,
Never seen a winged horse,
But I could fight before I turned the age of three,
Following the goddess Freya,
She'll either screw ya or she'll slay ya,
Valkyrie Goddess you made an Einherjar of me!

Ah . . . you inspired me to fight,
Ah . . . and to make love by fire light,
Ah . . . you are the lovely twin of Frey,
Valkyrie Goddess you put the May pole back in May!

In a carriage drawn by cats,
She's a beauty none can match,
Let the Romans have their Venus, she's a hag,
For Freya's comely and she's mighty,
Even lovely Aphrodite,
Next to Freya looks like Hercules in drag!

Ah . . . you sure taught me how to fight,
Ah . . . and to make love and do it right,
Ah . . . you are the lovely Queen of May,
Valkyrie Goddess you turn the darkest night to day!

When Odin's choosing from the dead,
Won't you take me home instead?
To Sessrumnir where I'll guard you night and day,
If any Jotun wants your love,
I'll strike him low and then above,
And then I'll feed him to your battle swine right away!

Ah . . . you inspire me to fight,
Ah . . . you turn the darkness into light,
Ah . . . you are the lovely twin of Frey,
Valkyrie Goddess you give us all a pole May!
