Clinton Leaves Kosovo After One-Day Visit
PRISTINA, Serbia (Reuters) - President Clinton left Pristina airport
Tuesday, completing a
one-day visit to Kosovo which included meetings with local political
leaders and a
pre-Thanksgiving meal with U.S. peacekeeping troops.
U.S. officials said Clinton's plane left the Kosovo capital Pristina
at about 9:30 a.m. EST. He was
expected to fly to Aviano air base in Italy and then on to the
United States.
