Hello Dave, It is good to see that there is someone nearby with such good thoughts about this Country, It's flag and our way of life. It burns me to no end to see our flag burned. Some people say that it is their right under the freedom of speech to destroy our flag. They never spent any time in a war zone. They do not know what the rest of the world is like. I feel that they should be sent there to live, Maybe in Kosovo. Most of the year an American flag and an USMC flag are displayed at my residence, and the words SEMPER FI ring true. Thanks for what you did, I won't forget!!!!

Dave I'm sorry it took me this long to get to your page. I was almost in tears thinking of you and all the many that have served, gave their lives and those now serving our country. I have many family members now serving. I have a nephew in U.S. Navy, cou ins in Air Force. I had uncles who served in WWII. Brother in laws in Vetnam and Korea Conflicts. Unfortunately, I am not a Veteran! I passed up the chance to join the USMC, and it's a decision I will regret for the rest of my life. I am a proud American and a Marine at heart. Hats off to every man and woman who have served and are serving our Coun ry proudly and honorably. Of course, never forgetting those men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
