Holding cadet rank and positions within the cadet corps is
an honor. Cadets are expected to set a good example for other
cadets. With higher rank and more positions, cadets are expected
to set an even better example. Cadets will be held
accountable for infractions of school rules or policies, as well
as SC-071 regulations. Infractions against the
school or AFJROTC rules will be dealt with according to the
severity of the infraction. Infractions can result in counseling,
written reprimand, demotion or loss of position.
Cadet chain of command will recommend punishment on normal corps
infractions, such as failure to attend staff meetings or failure
to properly perform cadet corps job. Cadet officers will document
verbal counseling and have the cadet counseled initial a
counseling form. Written reprimands and all more severe acts of
punishment require signature of Aerospace Science
Instructor/Assistant Aerospace Science Instructor. The cadet
supervisor recommending discipline will forward recommendations
through the cadet commander to the Aerospace Science
Instructor/Assistant Aerospace Science Instructor. The ASI is the
final authority for any punishment involving cadet rank or
positions within the cadet corps.
