What Is Resimen Mahasiswa ?
Resimen Mahasiswa -abbreviated as
Menwa
-is the one of kind
among civilian potencies for country's defence. The concept was sourced
from
Sishankamrata
(Sistem Pertahanan dan Keamanan Rakyat Semesta)
or Universal Self-Defence System. Menwa's units based on university, whose
personels are students. It is a special unit activity, part of student's
extra curricula activities, whose unit commander reports directly to the
head of the university.
There are 27 regiments on each of 27
provinces in Indonesia. Each regiment have its own flag and motto, but
as the nationally organization, Menwa has flag,
Prime Directive
and motto.
