Ranger Indoctrination Program
The Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP) is a six week course open to University of Alabama students who are looking for a challenge. The course takes place during normal meeting hours. (Tuesday nights, 6 p.m. CST) The course emphasizes physical stamina, patrolling, and basic Ranger fundamentals. It is designed to get new members up to speed and ready for the Ranger Company. The course is mandatory and no session may be missed if the "Rippee" hopes to earn his/her tab and become a Bama Ranger.
The course is demanding both physically and mentally.
