It takes a lot to be a leader of men. You must have confidence enough to lead while instilling the confidence of your troops in you; otherwise they won't follow you. This is not only true in the military, but in life in general. The Bama Ranger Company gives students the opportunity to lead. Whether in the chain of command or as a Ranger leading a patrol, as a Ranger-leader you will be tested. You will find out exactly how much of a leader you are and what you need to improve on. You will then be given the opportunity to improve as a leader within the company. These valuable skills are invaluable in the civilian and military worlds.
Remember: most leaders are created, not born.
