Let me introduce myself, I'm WolfBoy and I'm a Helo Bubba. More specifically a Naval Helicopter Pilot. I received my commission through the Naval Aviation Cadet (NAVCAD) Program. The NAVCAD Program enabled people with only 2 years of college to go through AOCS (Aviation Officer Candidate School), now just OCS, and then flight school. You get your commission and your Wings of Gold at the completion of flight school. The program was canceled a couple years ago, but the 'CADS live on.

In the fleet I flew the mighty MH53-E Sea Dragon, by Sikorsky, doing that wonderful thing known in our community as towing. Towing is basically being connected to the water by a sled or some other device, and trying to fly & blow up mines at the same time. The people and the platform (that's the helo) are great. The job (towing) isn't exciting, but it is needed, and difficult at times. I spent three years in the San Francisco Bay Area flying there. Now I'm in Pensacola flying the TH-57B/C as a flight instructor teaching soon to be Naval Aviators how to become helo bubbas.
Hobbies include flying, sports, ranging from football, baseball, skiing and watching the Olympics, reading, boating and my pup. I'm raising a pure bred Old English Mastiff, if you have the space and time (and don't mind a lil slobber) I highly recommend them.
