CABBAGE CASSEROLE

Helen writes: "The cabbage casserole is one I just made up for the last hurricane (Isadora) when I was gonna have a houseful of relatives staying over. I made so much, a double batch, that I had to pre- mix it in a dishpan then rearrange it in layers in a baking dish. Needless to say, the gang loved it. I got the idea from a friend of mine and kept adding things to it, to my liking, like the pork."
