CHICO XAVIER'S BIOGRAPHY

Xavier, or Chico Xavier, is the more knew medium of the present
time, in Brazil and the exterior, and with bigger time of
mediumistic activity: 72 years.
Been born in the Pedro Leopoldo city, Minas Gerais, in April 02
of 1910, was initiated in the Spiritism at the 17 years old.
Assisted for the brother José Cândido Xavier, it established
the Spiritist Center Luiz Gonzaga, in May of 1927. In July, 08 of
the same year he received and written the first spiritual
message, from 17 pages, of a Spirit Friend, and that it turned on
Spiritist Duties.
But José Xavier come to die after that, and the lover medium,
that we always know pes-tered by multitudes begging and
suffering, and encircled of friends and admirers, arrived to work
alone, for much time, between persecutions and preconceptions,
for absolute lack of friends.

In the 1931 year end,
knew Emmanuel, him luminous guide, and from he initiated there
what we can call "sublime bridge" between the Sky and
the Land, therefore that under prompt spiritual, Chico Xavier
started untiring to psychographies a thousand messages of
instruction, education and consolation, of sublime text, compiled
in more than four hundred books. Many of them had been translated
into other languages, which the English, the Spanish and
Esperanto.
The income of the sale of books, and admirable richness, was,
since the beginning totally donated in favor of hospitals,
beneficent asylums, orphanages and other institutions, living
Chico Xavier humbly of his simple work of public officer. The
principle of Jesus "From there of favor what from favor you
received" was the motto of the admirable Christian worker,
in the treatment with the had money of his blessed mediumism.
Chico Xavier currently pensioner, today inhabits in Uberaba,
Minas Gerais, Brazil, being with the age of 89 years old. Still
he appears, always that possible, to Saturdays to the night, in
Grupo Espírita da Prece, house that he established when changed
of Pedro Leopoldo for Uber-aba, in the Sixties years, receiving
and talking with hundreds of people who if compress in the place,
anxious for a word of affection, that it always has for all, and
for his gesture of love, a special feature: the tender kiss in
