The year of 1944
marks the opening of André Luiz in the Brazilian
Spiritist publishment market, revolutionizing, in certain
mode, the general conception concerning the life
after-tomb.
"Our Home" (Brazilian name: "Nosso
Lar"), describes the activity of a spiritual city
next to the Earth, and is changed into object of study,
quarrel and fascination in the Spiritist circles.
Everybody wants to know more about the author.
André Luiz is not his true name.
About him, is knew just that he was sanitarian doctor, in
the beginning century, and that he exerted its profession
in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. According to his own words, he
opted to the anonymity, when of the decision to send
notice of the beyond-tomb, for understanding that
"the human existence presents great majority of
fragile vases, that cannot still contain all the
truth".
Emmanuel declares, in the preface of "Our
Home", that it, "for bringing valuable
printings to the friends of the world, needed to delouse
of all conventions, also of the proper name, not to wound
beloved hearts, involved in the old mantles of the
ilusion."
Immense curiosity surrounds the Spiritual Benefactor and
suggested hypothesis about his true personality.
The name of the doctor and scientist Oswaldo Cruz (photo Nova Encic.
Ilust. Folha) seems most logical, even to still a
hypothesis.
André Luiz, however, faithful to the desire to serve
without prize, and intent to the commitment with the
truth, continues spilling blessing in book form, without
bending over it the general curiosity.
It matters what he has to say, of spirit to the spirit.
The vanity of the name or late glories already does not
find echo in his discerning and noble heart.
For more than four
decades, André Luiz worked actively together the
Spiritist Field, it adorner the excellency and clarify
paths.
Chico Xavier, medium that it served of
"bridge", today old and frail, cannot more
offers safe hand to the transmission of its luminous
teachings.
We don't know if André Luiz will return for the hand
from another one medium.
In this way, only remains, to the spiritists and
admirers, the study of its magnificent work, silencing
interrogations to abide to the lessons that the same one
locks up, of deloused mind and thanked heart.
As him, certainly, waits either done.
