Your Digital Portfolio
Requirements: The entire web page must be written in
French. There are several grammar requirements:
the use of complex sentences using relative pronouns,
the use of expressions that introduce the subjunctive
and the subjunctive tense, and the use of si clauses;
all grammar must be edited for corrections.
Begin with a biography of yourself.
Then choose 4 different projects or
written assignments that you have done or will be doing
this year and summarize them. One of your projects
must be about the artist that you are preparing
for your oral presentation.
Ideas: Dantès, La Fontaine, Powerpoint, Artist,
lst through 4th Quarter projects,
keypals with Holland, La Belle et la Bête, Cyrano.
Written Work: Must first be written in Word or on paper;
must be checked by the teacher and corrected by the
student, must be handed in a second time for a grade,
must be edited so that the final copy may be written on
your Web Page. NOTHING may be written on your Web
Page until it has been checked by the teacher. Please
return corrected copy of your edited text to the teacher.
Pictures: You should have at least 4 pictures. Not all 4
pictures may fit on your web page. Try to use as many
links as you can so that pictures can be found elsewhere.
Try to get your pictures off the Web with a URL address.
Pictures taken in class can be scanned and uploaded in
order to develop a URL address for you to use.
Checklist: Your checklist Portfolio sheet must be kept in
a safe place. All Check Points must be dated and signed
by the designated person.
Grading:
Process
(checklist & student procedures) = Two Homework Grades
Product (your web page) = Two Test Grades
Grammar (on web page) = Two Test Grades
All Edited Work (on paper) = Five Quiz Grades

Make your Digital Portfolio with Microsoft's Front Page.
It's user friendly. Students learn it very easily.
Students can save it to a disk.
Other digital options: use PowerPoint or Publisher.
Both can be saved to disk and they give the students
an option of how they would like to digitize their
portfolio.
