I've been to the Cleveland Phantom and to the Phantom in Toronto. There was absolutely no comparison. Paul Stanley was beautiful. He proved to everyone that he could sing and act. He was fantastic. I was overcome with so much emotion. If anyone know about a cd made with Paul Stanley doing the Phantom, I want to buy it.

I never knew this site existed. This is cool. The best book I ever read about the Phantom of the Opera was written by Mary Kay. The story starts from the day Eric was born, and it continues until he meets up with Christine. What makes it interesting is she tells the story from various third party n rratives This gives you different insights into Eric's character. You actually feel hate, pitty, saddness, joy, and contempt for him as a result of the various characters telling the story. This was the book that got me hooked. Check it out....

I first saw "Phantom" in 1987, just before M.C.was rushed into hospital. I thought it was wonderful, and later thet year spent many hours queueing to get tickets, including Michael's last night, when with many others, I slept on the pavement overnight to ry and get a ticket, I got in to the matinee, but stayed around and saw him after the show. The following year my friend and I went to New York, saw the show and were allowed to go backstage and see him. Have seen several Phantoms, he's the best !

I had watched this spectacular show in December last year. I was awestruck by how the other performers which I cannot recall the "Erik's" performer, but it was also with Lisa Vroman. Their singing was beautifully sung, the costumes were elaborate, and the music is perpetually playing in the back of my mind. I have now become an avid collector of the 2 CD set, the dolls, the waterglobe, the ornament, and anything else that I can put in my collection. I have also the autographs of the "Erik" and "Raoul" perf rmers. I also have the booklet on the play besides the play bill. I have spent well over $300 on my newest obsession of "The Phantom of the Opera" merchandise. I just finished reading an article in USA Today stating that it was doubtful Michael Crawford would be the Phantom in the movie version of this play. I saw Phantom twice throughout the years...the first time with Michael Crawford. Sad to say I can't rem mber who sang the part the second time I saw it (a year later). Coincidentally, I was recently making plans to see it one more time and was lamenting the fact that I wouldn't see and hear Michael Crawford again. Please, please don't give up on your campaign to get him. Thank you.

I object to a POTO movie. I think it is better on stage and in a movie, things are bound to change; which I'm sure true Phantom Phans wouldn't like. On the other hand, if Webber got his act together and wrote a stage sequel to Phantom, using the story fro before, it would probably be O.K. BUT....... if POTO was made a bit more popular in theatres, I would be over the moon.

I have just purchased the Original Novel by Gaston Leroux and I am pulled into the book. I have listened to the double CD for years and have seen the play in New York (Broadway) and again in San Diego,CA. Phantom is my all time favorite musical... it was first introduced to me when the local band Apollo did for a feild with the band director Mr.Estes... After that i got the music and lead on from that and now a michael crawford fan club member....although i never saw him preform..... Phantom rules.....(and this is coming from a 14 yr old so it has to be good to convert me from heavy rock!)

The book Phantom by: Susan Kay is the most majestic book about the phantom's life that I have ever read. I have read it over twenty times, and it is wonderful! I fell in love with the story, with the characters-- I didn't have my glasses on yet, I saw everything. I like knowing I can relate to other Phans... and they knwo EXCATLY know what I am talking about. A magic that swept over the theater, embracing each o us with every note, every performance... The cast members (whom I would liek to meet someday) are actaully real! Right before my eyes... I can "touch them." They aren't fake like TV Stars.. they get involved with thier fans... I have loved Phantom for years now. Ever since I was little, it just captured my imagination and gave me new things to dream about. I first fell in love with the story, then I discovered the music. Just listening to it brought out so many different emo ions...I had never thought anything could be as powerful as Phantom was. When I was in high school, I got the opportunity to travel to New York and see the show. As I sat in the Majestic Theatre, I marveled at how wonderful it all was. I watched the sh w, feeling myself drawn into the story, even though I had seen it a thousand times before. I, of course, cried at the end and I noticed few dry eyes around me. I realized that I was not the only one who was completly swept away by the performance. I be ame a huge fan and even got a Phantom tattoo....I'm happy to see that there are other Phantom Phans out there! DON'T SUPPORT THE MOVIE !!!!!! :)

I have recently been bitten by the Phantom bug, especially the "Bohmer bug", so I was thrilled to find all these websites devoted to Phantom info. Can't get enough!
