unknown has never been so beautiful

if gender is deciphered through unintelligent eyes
unintelligent not necessarily a bad thing
but safe
sipping on nicotine and poetry
in the night
smack dab in the middle
of the night
bugs chatter
alerting others that the time has come
where "they" cease to roam
and cry
and piss
and moan
we sleep
not hearing or seeing
or knowing
the language
the words
being spoken
in black and white
