Title: ex-Prince of Lyons

Appearance: Large brown eyes set in an aristocratic face, Ren� is a daunting figure whose very gaze is unsettling. He bears the look of a strict school headmaster and he eyes everyone with suspicion. His dark hair is cropped short and matted to allow for the fitting of a wig although he has rarely worn one since his embrace. His clothes are also dark yet simple, prim and proper and he usually walks with his hands crossed behind is back.

Notes: Based on the character Odo, from Deep Space 9, Ren� Auberjois(named after the same actor who plays Odo) is a raspy sounding individual whose existence dates back to the time of Hippocrates' reign. A constable in mortal life, he helped usher in what is now considered as "The Conciergerie", a sect within the Paris police force dedicated to investigating and solving homicides. It is his investigations which brought him dangerously close to discovering the Anarch activities and breaching the Masquerade. It is unknown who sired Ren�, but he quickly became outspoken and famous for his objective and unbiased opinions, which was more often than not, called upon to settle petty Toreador disputes. Prince Hippocrates granted him the title of Provost and later the "Pincedom" of Lyon. Ren� doesn't think much of kindred life and seems to value duty and responsibility above all else. At the time of his embrace though, Ren� was more or less branded as a traitor to his clan because of his objective opinions, but Ren� remains a genuine Brujah Idealist dedicated to improving social order through justice rather than through chaos. Update: The current state of Paris and the recent death of his childer Georges, has turned Ren�'s attention towards the Princedom of Paris. He considers the current Revolutionary fervor intolerable. Since he was a tone time "third in command" of Paris, he plans to use that argument to wrestle support from the Paris kindred to become the next Prince.

Update: It is rumored that Rene is deceased, although there is no concrete evidence besides the fact that he is nowhere to be found.
