Title: Tremere Elder

Quote: How can we stand on the light of discovery and be proud of the technological achievements that mankind has made when all they do is enable the actions of one nation's whim on another?

Appearance: Clemens is approximately five and a half feet tall with bushy white hair and little beady eyes. He is slightly bent and almost always wears a white lab coat (except on formal occations).

Note: At first glance, the good professor actually seems kind of looney, but Clemens is actually quite intelligent (as most Tremere are). He speaks eloquently, although he is quite pessimistic. (Imagine Professor Clemens as Mark Twain in his later years) He was the former Regent of Paris before the Prince kicked him out, and he resided in Vienna.

Updates: Clemens has returned to Paris after a brief exile and has assumed the title of Regent. He has adopted Xanthia as his own childer following the judgement of the Inner Council. Whether he likes this or not is anybody's guess.

1789 Update: ACTIVE. Clemens has begun to show some mental afflictions consistent with a mortal elder of his apparent age. His periods of lucidity seem to be equal with his bouts of cynicism, poor memory, and lethargy.
