A Love Poem To Amie

It started in the city,
I needed something to munch.
Who would've known I would be
Yours by the end of lunch.

Slowly I was was drawn deeper,
Slowly I released my fear.
At times you make me weaker,
Yet you always draw me near.

At first my rings of onion,
Willingly you did not take.
But now this fusion union,
Two minds, souls, sprits, one make.

Flames within you burn me bright,
I the candle, you the fire.
So wonderful is your sight,
You always take me higher.

A certain date you told me,
My love for you would expire.
The one thing that you don't see -
I'd never part my desire.

Now seemingly bound by rings
Of loving and silver sort;
And the joys of life you bring -
You are my perfect drug sought.

Forever yours, all my love.
Words can't explain you to me.
An angel from up above
Graced me - I love you Amie.
