FRANCE 2001

Registration for Olentangy High School's trip to France in 2001 ended on October 30, 2000.� Students who registered before June 10, 2000 will enjoy a free dinner on the Eiffel Tower! We will travel with Vistas in Education for three weeks; the highlight of the trip will be a one-week Family Stay.� See France 1999 for a sample itinerary.
There are 13 students registered for the trip. We are scheduled to leave on June 13th and we will return on July 4th. We're anxiously awaiting our itinerary!Students may earn 1/2 credit for traveling to France and completing several activities.

What would you like to see in Paris? Here are the monuments that we usually visit, listed according to their location:
Ile-de-la-C�t�: Notre Dame Cathedral, the Deportation Memorial, Sainte-Chapelle, Conciergerie (exterior)
Right Bank: Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elys�es, Louvre, Mus�e d'Orsay, Orangerie, Pompidou Center ("Beaubourg"), Op�ra Garnier, Sacr�-Coeur
Left Bank: Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Rodin Museum (park only), Op�ra de la Bastille
La D�fense: La Grande Arche
If there's time: We often visit P�re Lachaise Cemetery.
