85 years ago comic Ben Turpin looked into a Movie Camera only to
behold a custard pie sailing out proudly over the camera and
into his face. That day Mabel Normand introduced the pie in the
face not only to Keystone Studios but to civilization as we know
it. Now you too can follow in the tradition of Mabel Normand,
Roscoe Arbuckle, Charlie Chaplin and yes, maybe poor Ben Turpin at
WERU's first annual Pie Throwing Contest.
