Me and My Wife!

Thank you for visiting our homepage. We hope that you enjoy looking around these pages of ours. My name is Buntha and this is my wife who is working for the Multi-Culture Center at Heidelberg College . Here is a new arrival of a family member Thomas Rasmey C. I was born in the province of Kompong Cham in Cambodia My journey to America was quite a scary one, just like most Cambodians who sought freedom in the early 1980's! I left Cambodia.in 1985 and stayed in the refugee camps along the border of Cambodia and Thailand for about three years. Through the intensive effort of my brother, Heang who had tried to sponsor me, my mother, and my brother to the state, we were allowed to enter America in early 1989 eventually. I came to America in 1989 with my mother and one of my brothers, Chanda. I went to West Technical High School in Cleveland, Ohio for about two and half years and graduated from there. Then, I went on to Ohio Northern University to study Mechanical Engineer and graduated in 1997. Currently, I am employed by Taiho Corporation of America here in Tiffin, Ohio as a project engineer. In my spare time, I like playing all kinds of sports such as tennis, soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf (just started and got edicted now!) ,and of course writing Khmer poems and Khmer songs!. I am also interested in following the political events, especially in Cambodia. I hope some day I would be able to contribute good things to my war-torn homeland, Cambodia. That is a brief information about me.
